In addition to her acting career, Laura is a passionate philanthropist, Animal Activist and committed environmentalist. She supports a number of Eco-Conscious charities, including Global Green USA, the American affiliate of Green Cross International and Greenpeace.

A lifelong animal lover, Laura is very passionate about her work with WildAid. WildAid is the only organization of it’s kind focused on reducing the demand for illegal wildlife. With a strong yet simple message WildAid believes, “When the buying stops, the killing can too.” Laura is honored to again be on the Gala committee for this year’s WildAid Gala, November 11th, 2017 in Los Angeles.

Laura recently joined the Stand for Trees organization. The passionate pair have a number of exciting projects in the works, so keep an eye out for announcements, videos and more right here and on their social!

Over the years, Laura has also been a part of other charities, including: Habitat for Humanity, The St. Bernard Project, Heal The Bay, Pencils of Promise, Proud & Pretty in Pink, Dizzy Feet Foundation, Surfrider, and among others.

“My definition of success is doing what I love, and getting to a place in my career that I could do something positive. Change things for the better, leave the world better than I found it. To me that’s success, and what more of us should aspire to! I’m so honored to be a part of charities like WilDAid and Habitat for Humanity, and consider it a privilege to work with them.”
